Privacy Policy

1. No image uploads

Anchorlox does NOT upload or transmit photos of your anchor objects. All image processing happens locally on your device. We do not store photos of your coffee machine, plant, or front door.

2. What we store

- Digital fingerprints (feature vectors) of anchor objects (stored locally, encrypted)

- Basic session data (start time, duration, unlock time)

- Optional: email address for Early Access signup (double opt-in)

3. Early Access email signup (GDPR)

If you sign up for Early Access, we process your email based on consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). We only activate your signup after a confirmation click (double opt-in).

Stored fields for signup proof: email, consent timestamp, consent version, confirmation status, and technical token hash for confirmation.

Purpose: closed-testing invitations and essential signup communication.

No login is required during Early Access; a login feature will be added in a future release.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing contact@anchorlox.com.

4. Offline-first architecture

Most Anchorlox features work completely offline. Synchronization with a backend is optional and will only be used for multi-device sync or cloud backup when available.

5. Data sharing with third parties

We do not share your data with THIRD PARTIES, except:

- App stores (only anonymized crash reports with your consent)

- Technical processors used for delivery (email provider and hosting), under data processing agreements where required

- Wiredash: Used for in-app feedback collection. Wiredash may collect optional device information and feedback submissions when you use the feedback feature.

6. Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
